Dahyet Dima (ضاحية ديما) is a commercial strip development that forms part of the larger Jawharet El Asema Compound in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. The project occupies a linear plot of land overlooking the new monorail line along one edge of the compound, designed as an active pedestrian-oriented commercial frontage. The strip features retail spaces integrated with landscaped walkways, gardens, and green public zones to create a lively and inviting urban edge for residents and visitors. The main objective of this phase was to translate the approved concept into a complete 3D model and integrate it seamlessly within the overall compound masterplan developed by RAY Consultants.
I worked independently on the full 3D modeling and visualization of Dahyet Dima, producing the required architectural output using SketchUp and Lumion. After completing the design integration within the compound context, I also developed the final project presentation video using DaVinci Resolve, combining cinematic sequencing with a professional voice-over performed by Rama, resulting in a polished and engaging visual narrative for the project.
